Join Our Team as an Automotive Technician
We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team at our Amsterdam location. The successful candidate will work closely with our Transport Manager, supporting the daily operations related to our fleet's maintenance and upkeep.
Working Hours:
Two Shift Patterns (AM/PM)
Salary:
Starting at €60,000, negotiable based on experience
Sign-on Bonus:
€2,000
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily maintenance of vehicles.
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections.
- Investigate and diagnose vehicle issues based on driver reports and take appropriate action.
- Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical problems.
- Test parts and systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and perform repairs on equipment as needed.
- Carry out routine servicing and preventive maintenance according to manufacturer schedules.
- Adhere to operational policies and procedures, ensuring all relevant documentation is submitted and recorded.
- Maintain accurate records and submit reports as required.
- Perform additional office duties as assigned.
Experience & Skills
- Qualification as a Motor Mechanic.
- Class “C” Driving License preferred; Class “B” Driving License required.
- Leaving Certificate.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Completion of a postsecondary program in automotive service technology is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
